Council
The school council is an elected body consisting of parents and staff which has the role of co-ordinating various aspects of school life and providing parents with a voice in school matters. It is also a vital link in the school/community relationship and is an active partner in school policy development. Our school council meets on the fourth and eighth Tuesday of each Term and parents are always welcome to attend these meetings as observers.
School Council’s work is enhanced by three sub-committees or working parties which meet in the week prior to School Council. These are:
- Finance (incorporating Uniform Shop, Canteen,) and Fundraising
- Facilities
- Education/Publicity
For the 2009-10 Council Year our School Council President is Dr Paul Chandler
